Group Therapy
PFect offers Psychoeducation and Process Groups that focus on School Anxiety and Avoidance and how it affects children and adolescents and their families as a whole. These hour-long groups include psychoeducation on topics related to school anxiety, coping skills, and space to process feelings and experiences with peers, other parents, and caretakers navigating similar situations.
Our program is designed with your busy schedule in mind. Students' groups will focus on coping skills and processing, while families can receive psychoeducation on supporting the use of skills and space to process with other families. The best part? The groups will run at the same time, providing a convenient and flexible option for you and your child to attend on the same days!
Our groups are open to children aged 10-17. We strive to create a safe and inclusive space where all voices are heard and respected.
We will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month via Zoom and once a month on Saturdays at our Downers Grove offices.
$50 per session, and we accept insurance or out-of-pocket payment.
